Girl Guides District Manager
The District Manager is the leader of the District Management Team, and manages all volunteers in the area. The District Manager is responsible for promoting guiding in the area, managing volunteers, ensuring smooth communication between volunteers in the district, and to the region, ensure the Australian Guide Program is delivered effectively and safetly, oversee the District Management Team to ensure appropriate record keeping, financial management and administrative support. The focus of the role is providing management and administration support to the volunteers running activities for the guides, to enable them to do so more efficiently. The time commitment can be flexible, rather than a weekly meeting at the same time each week.
