National Mill Dog Rescue

Enrichment & Socialization

The Enrichment & Socialization Team helps teach essential life skills to dogs, including leash walking, car training, meeting new dogs and people, and getting used to new experiences. Volunteers in this role also participate in group socialization sessions and provide in-kennel enrichment, such as sit-in time, scent work, special snacks, blankets, and toys to keep the dogs mentally stimulated and engaged.

Mission Statement

The mission of National Mill Dog Rescue is to rescue, rehabilitate and re-home discarded breeding dogs and to educate the general public about the cruel realities of the commercial dog breeding industry.
