Welcome to National Mill Dog Rescue!
Thank you for your interest in volunteering with National Mill Dog Rescue (NMDR)! Volunteers are the heart of our organization, and we couldn’t do this life-saving work without people like you. By joining our team, you’ll help us rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome dogs who have spent their lives in commercial breeding facilities.
How to Get Started:
1. Complete a Volunteer Application – Click the link that says NMDR Peyton to fill out your application and begin the process.
2. Sign Up for a New Volunteer Orientation – Once your application is processed, you will need to attend an orientation session before signing up for any shifts. This is required for all new volunteers.
Age Requirements:
• The minimum age to volunteer is 13.
• Volunteers ages 13-15 must have a parent or legal guardian:
• Attend orientation with them
• Be on the premises at all times during volunteer shifts
• Volunteers ages 16+ can volunteer independently.
Our rescued dogs need patient, kind-hearted volunteers to help with their transition from commercial breeding survivors to beloved pets. Whether you’re helping with dog care, enrichment, cleaning, social media, outreach, or transport, your time and dedication will make a difference.
We can’t wait to welcome you to the NMDR volunteer family! Start your journey today by submitting your volunteer application.
