Are you a creative videographer who wants to use your skills for something truly meaningful?
As a Videographer Volunteer, you’ll play a vital role in bringing the stories of our shelter animals, staff, and volunteers to life. Your work will help showcase the incredible animals in our care and give them the best possible chance of finding their forever homes.
This role is perfect for someone who understands the powerful impact that behind-the-scenes and non-animal contact roles have in advancing animal welfare.
What you’ll be doing
- Preparing interview questions and filming interviews and b-roll footage
- Reviewing, organising, and managing video footage
- Editing videos, including adding captions, music, and graphics
- Incorporating feedback and finalising video content
- Exporting, sharing, and backing up all footage and final videos
What we’re looking for
- Aged 18 years or over
- Experience in filming and editing, with strong storytelling skills
- Own video equipment and sound microphones
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively to a brief
- A genuine passion for animal welfare
Shifts available
This is an as-needed role. We’ll be in touch when video content is required, with shifts typically running from 10am–3pm. Between videography opportunities, there is also scope to get involved in other volunteering roles across the shelter if you’d like.
