Imagine spending your volunteer days surrounded by exquisite vintage garments, stunning accessories, and timeless style. As a Fashion Retail Volunteer with the National Trust of Australia (Victoria), you’ll help prepare and present unique pieces for exhibitions, retail events, and our iconic Vintage Clothing Sale across a 12 month calendar. This is your backstage pass to the world of heritage fashion—and a chance to preserve it for future generations. Join our volunteer team and help bring Victoria’s sartorial heritage to life. Whether you’re welcoming visitors to a fashion pop-up, styling a display for a seasonal exhibition, or sorting through vintage donations, you’ll be part of a vibrant, creative crew. Together, we’ll celebrate the glamour, craftsmanship, and cultural stories behind every stitch. Whether you’re a fashion enthusiast, a heritage lover or someone who thrives in a retail or front-of-house environment—we’d love to hear from you! Volunteer activities could include:
