Lottery Volunteer

Enthusiastic volunteers are always needed to help out the lottery team at events and activities to help raise vital funds for The Mary Stevens Hospice. 

What will I be doing?
As one of our fantastic lottery volunteers you will be supporting at our Hospice events or on one of our stalls out in the community to chat with supporters and sell lottery tickets to help raise funds for the Hospice. 

What skills and experience will I need? 
- Enthusiastic and approachable
- Good communication skills
- Interpersonal skills
- Planning and organisation skills
- Understanding of cash handling


How often will I be volunteering?
This role is ad-hoc volunteering and you will be informed when volunteers are required to support at our Hospice events or external events where we will be representing The Mary Stevens Hospice. This can involve, weekday, weekend and evening opportunities. 

What Support will I get?
As a lottery volunteer you will receive an in-depth volunteer onboarding and induction process. You will receive ongoing support and training from the volunteer and lottery team at the Hospice.

Due to the nature of this role and the hospice environment, please note that we can only accept applications for this role if you are 18 years or older. Thank you for your understanding.
