About our Volunteers

Our volunteers at the Hospice bestow care, compassion and kindness to all, they maintain a professional service, delivering the best possible experience to patients, visitors and family members.

Each of our volunteers brings with them their own individuality, personality, and creativeness as they engaged with patients, relatives, and the public on many levels. Our incredible volunteers are valued and respected for all they do to help, for their reliability, commitment, and dedication to the hospice.

Mission Statement

 
Hospice Mission
To provide equitable specialist palliative and end of life care for people aged 18 years and over with a life limiting illness, in an environment where everyone feels supported and safe to access and receive individualised care that is delivered with care, compassion and kindness.
 
Vision
That specialist palliative and end of life care will be delivered across the local population by a workforce equipped with the skills and knowledge required.
Accessible care will be delivered within the hospice and across community settings, to ensure people receive timely and equitable care.

The hospice overarching values are those of Care, Compassion and Kindness. This is reflected in the below statements.
