Creative Wellbeing Volunteer
As a Creative Wellbeing volunteer, you will be supporting the hospice in ensuring resources are prepared, ready for training and sessions that are being delivered.
What will I be doing?
You will be preparing resources for our No Barriers Here project and other creative wellbeing activities. This will include:
- Sorting and trimming paper for collage packs
- Winding yarn
- Trimming fabric
- Helping pack training resources
- Preparing materials for creative workshops
What skills and experience will I need?
- Good listening skills
- Have an eye for detail
- Be able to follow instructions
- Planning and organisation skills
How often will I be volunteering?
We are looking for a volunteer to support weekly or biweekly. When demand is high, you may be asked to support more often.
What Support will I get?
You will receive an in-depth volunteer onboarding and induction process. You will have supervision from our Creative Wellbeing Lead and training on any equipment that may be used.
