Blue Box Collectors
Our Blue Box Collectors help raise vital funds for the hospice, through building relationships with local businesses and supporters out about in the local community to encourage them to have a blue box to support the hospice.
What will I be doing?
- Taking and replacing blue boxes out into the community to businesses that already support the hospice
- Continue to build relationships with current businesses who support the hospice
- Building relationships with new businesses to encourage them to have a collection box on behalf of the hospice
- Be a representative of the hospice in the local community
What skills and experience will I need?
- Enthusiastic and approachable
- Good communication skills
- Interpersonal skills
- Planning and organisation skills
- Understanding of cash handling
- Empathy and understanding
How often will I be volunteering?
This role requires a few hours of support per month. You will also need access to your own vehicle as part of this role.
What Support will I get?
As a volunteer you will receive an in-depth volunteer onboarding and induction process. You will receive ongoing support and training from the volunteer and fundraising team at the Hospice.

Please note that we can only accept applications for this role if you are 18 years or older.
You may be required to undergo training where required and you may be required to have a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
