Shop Merchandiser
HOURS: Monday – Saturday
10 am – 1pm 1pm – 4pm (hours may vary dependent upon availability)
Dress code:
Smart Casual and to comply with H&S requirements to wear closed in shoes at all times. To wear your volunteer name badge at all times.
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
To ensure stock is displayed accordance to Jersey Hospice Care merchandising principles.
Key Accountabilities
- Ensure products are fit for sale, not damage, or soiled and are within the product accepted by Jersey Hospice Care.
- To display goods in accordance with the store merchandising policy.
- To keep the sales floor clean and tidy.
- Clean up breakages, spillages immediately.
- To answer customer queries or signpost to the correct member of staff.
Knowledge and Experience
- Be approachable, patient and friendly and uphold our high levels of integrity.
- Be polite and helpful to customers and colleagues, contributing to the general ambiance of the shop.
- Ability to commit to working a regular shift.
