Hours: Various - this may include some evening / weekend sessions (volunteers can choose events and hours)

Summary of role
Raising funds from the community can be rewarding and enjoyable. Volunteer fundraisers play a vital role helping to ensure Jersey Hospice Care can be there for the people who use our services on a daily basis. Income generation is a key to our continued success. As a volunteer fundraiser you will be able to organise your own events and help to encourage others to fundraise for the charity. Could you use your flair and self-motivation to join our volunteer fundraising team, helping to promote Jersey Hospice Care in the community? The role is flexible to suit your commitments and interests.
Being a volunteer fundraiser can involve:
- Support local fundraising and awareness events
- Help put up posters or handing out flyers (as required)
- Undertaking collections
- Selling tickets at events
- Selling raffle tickets
- Manning a stall
- Helping to bake cakes (so the list goes on!)
Essential skills, knowledge and experience
- Smartly dressed person who has the ability to work as part of a team or on their own.
- To strictly maintain Jersey Hospice Care Non-Disclosure Agreement.
