About the Hampton Visitor Information Centre

Set in one of Queensland’s most picturesque high‑country regions, the Hampton Visitor Information Centre is a friendly hub where travellers and locals come for guidance, stories, maps, and inspiration. From scenic lookouts and national parks to local food, art, and events—our volunteers help visitors discover what makes this area so special.

We’re a diverse, welcoming group who love our region and enjoy helping others explore it. Whether you’re recommending walking trails, sharing local knowledge, or simply offering a friendly chat, you’ll be part of a supportive, community‑minded team.
Volunteers enjoy flexible shifts and receive a warm induction with practical guidance, coordinator support, and plenty of encouragement. If you bring local knowledge, basic computer confidence, and a passion for helping others, we’d love to welcome you.
