Calling Parents to Volunteer with Walking School Bus (WSB) Program

About this role
Two volunteers accompany the 'school bus' on each morning or afternoon shift.
Bus trips involve walking a distance of up to 1 km between the first and last 'stops' where children are either picked up or dropped off. Volunteers supervise school children to walk safely to or from school. Volunteers are asked to commit to a minimum of one shift per week during school term.
Please join us in walking these children safely to their school by applying for the Walking School Bus program today. Please note that at this stage, we are only looking for parents to sign up for this volunteer opportunity.
If you are not a parent of the child studying at the below schools, then we kindly ask you to contact our Volunteer and Engagement Advisor at volunteer@mvcc.vic.gov.au for other volunteering opportunities.
