Overview

Join us to be part of an exciting day filled with books and book lovers at the Mississauga Literary Festival. 

Volunteer with the Mississauga Literary Festival on September 12th, 2026, at the Hazel McCallion Central Library. At the event, attendees will interact with authors through panels and presentations or engage in one of our writing workshops.

Shift Hours

• September 12, 2026; 9 am to 5 pm
• Additional hours will be offered for event setup the day prior

Eligibility

• Volunteers must have reached 14 years of age or older on the date of the first shift.
• An offer of a volunteer position is conditional upon the volunteer completing the following once selected;
  • Volunteering Terms and Conditions (Form 2754)
  • Record of Offences Declaration
  • City of Mississauga Volunteer Orientation (online module)
• Availability to commit at least 5 hours of volunteering
