Saturday, October 3, 2026 | 9 a.m.
Los Peñasquitos Ranch House
12122 Canyonside Park Drive, San Diego, CA 92129
Spend the day outdoors and take part in service, nature, health, and wellness.
This year, San Diego Community Climate Action Day and the 4th Annual October Hike-A-Thon Kickoff will take place on the same day at Los Peñasquitos Canyon Preserve and Ranch House.
Community Climate Action Day offers hands-on projects that care for parks, green spaces, and the local community. These days are made possible by California Climate Action Corps, a program of California Volunteers, Office of the Governor partnering with local communities.
The Hike-A-Thon is an annual event led by the County of San Diego Department of Parks and Recreation, Live Well San Diego, and Nature Unplugged.
