Garden - Garden Group Information Day
We are hosting an Information session for those that want to be invoved in our Rippon Lea Gardening Group. You can attend and find out what it is all about and the next steaps to become a registered Natinal Trust Volunteer. On the day you can attend the information session and join our gardening activties. However you will need to be a registerd volunteer to attend going ofrward after this initial meeting.
As a Garden Volunteer, you support the maintenance and presentation of one of Victoria’s most significant heritage gardens. Your work helps preserve the garden’s historical value and ensures it remains a beautiful and welcoming space for all visitors. This role directly contributes to the National Trust of Australia (Victoria)’s mission to conserve and celebrate our natural and cultural heritage.

Time Requirement : Wednesdays 10am -12 minimum twice a month
Reports to : NTAV Gardens Leading Hand
Volunteer Duties and Responsibilities:

Attend weekly working bees under the direction of the Leading Hand

Carry out seasonal garden maintenance tasks such as: Planting /Weeding / Pruning / Raking / General presentation

Work cooperatively with other volunteers to maintain high standards

Support the ongoing development of the garden within available resources

Skills, Qualifications or Experience Required (or Desirable)

No experience necessary—training provided

A willingness to learn and enjoy routine gardening tasks

Ability to work as part of a team

Basic physical fitness for outdoor tasks
