Fremont Children's Services Volunteer Opportunities - Lunar New Year Celebration Volunteer Information & Training
Fremont Main Library Children's Services is looking for responsible teen volunteers to help with our annual Lunar New Year Celebration. This year's event will be held on Saturday, February 28th from 1:00 - 4:15 PM. Volunteers for this program will assist with setup and teardown, crowd control, provide stage assistance, and facilitate crafts, games, and more.
Interested volunteers must attend the Lunar New Year Celebration Volunteer Information & Training scheduled on Wednesday, February 25th from 4:00 - 5:00 PM.
Qualifications:
- Responsible high school teens. Mandarin language skill a plus, but not required.
- Must attend the Lunar New Year Celebration Volunteer Information & Training on Wednesday, February 25th from 4:00 - 5:00 PM.
- Must be available to volunteer for the Lunar New Year Celebration on Saturday, February 28th from 12:30 PM - 5:00 PM.
The Lunar New Year Celebration Volunteer Information & Training session will be held in the Van Doorn room. Volunteers will enter the Van Doorn room from the lobby of the library.
