Westwood Service Day - Meals from the Heartland
Please sign up to help 3rd-5th grade students give back to the community in partnership with Meals from the Heartland.
Volunteers should arrive at 7:30am to help with set up in the gym and stay until approximately 1:00pm.
(We understand that not every volunteer can stay for the whole day, if you can stay for the majority of the day, we would still love to have you. We need at least 12 volunteers but can have as many as 24. Please just let the office know what hours you can be here if not for the whole event!)
Students will come down by grade. When they enter the gym, they will watch a short presentation about Meals from the Heartland and then work in groups to package meals. Our goal is to package 20,000 meals!
Volunteers will help with setting up the gym, receive training on the packaging process, and serve as table leaders to support students with packaging meals. When the event is over, volunteers will assist with tear down and moving packaged meals to the Meals from the Heartland vehicles.

Qualifications Required

- 25-26 Volunteer Manual Must be Complete
