Volunteer Services Office - Christmas Decor Extravaganza!
✨ Deck the Halls for St. Maria's Meals! ✨
Help us sprinkle Christmas magic throughout Catholic Charities DC Headquarters as we prepare to welcome our neighbors for a special indoor holiday dinner! We're transforming our office space into a warm and merry Christmas haven where community members can share a delicious meal in comfort and joy.
We invite volunteers to bring decorations to help create our festive atmosphere - don't worry about anything fancy! Handmade items like paper chains, paper snowflakes, or simple ornaments are perfect and add a wonderful personal touch.
Get into the holiday spirit as we:
- Trim Christmas trees with twinkling lights and ornaments
- Dress tables with festive decorations and cheerful centerpieces
- Hang wreaths and garlands to create a cozy atmosphere
- Add touches of holiday cheer throughout the Hickey Center
Together, we'll create a beautiful setting where our guests can experience the warmth and fellowship of the season. This magical evening will replace our regular Wednesday takeaway meal service, bringing the joy of a seated Christmas dinner to our neighbors experiencing food insecurity.
