Summer Adventure volunteers manage the library’s Summer Adventure program from June 1 to August 1. They will:

• Promote the Summer Adventure program
• Distribute Summer Adventure activity sheets
• Help members navigate the rules and enter prize drawings. 
• Assist with Summer Adventure programming and crafts and demonstrate activities.

Teens who are interested in being a Summer Adventure volunteer must first undergo training.  Training sessions are scheduled in the last two weeks of May and the first week of June ONLY. There are several to choose from, and you only need to complete the training ONCE.

In order to volunteer as a Summer Adventure volunteer you must meet the following requirements.

• Be 12 years of age or older
• Attend Summer Adventure training
• Complete and sign Centerville Orientation
• Show up for all assigned shifts

Training spaces are limited so sign-up ASAP.  You cannot be a Summer Adventure volunteer if you are not trained.  If you can’t make a training or there isn’t one scheduled, please contact a librarian using the “Contact” tab or by going into your local library.
