Site Operations - Information session New Gatehouse Front Of House
We are hosting an information session for new Volunteers to assist us.
As a Gatehouse Volunteer at Rippon Lea Estate, you are the welcoming face of the National Trust of Australia (Victoria). Your role supports the visitor experience by providing friendly front-of-house service, promoting membership, and assisting with retail operations.
Hours and Days per Week Required : Weekly to fortnightly, 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM (or until 5:00 PM during summer)
Reports to : Property Manager
Volunteer Duties and Responsibilities

Welcome visitors and provide an overview of what is available on site

Handle monies and ticket sales on NTAV POS software

Encourage NTAV membership and engagement, including tour

Assist with retail sales and customer service

Light cleaning and upkeep of the retail space

Restock merchandise and report any stock shortages

Prepare and serve hot beverages for visitors

Maintain a professional and friendly presence at the Gatehouse
