Whether you can give a few hours each week or help with special events, your involvement makes a meaningful difference in the lives of our students and staff. Volunteer Next Steps
Step 1: Submit Your Volunteer Application
- Select the school you are interested in from the list on the left.
- Browse the volunteer opportunities available at that school.
- Click the gray “Fill in an Application” button.
- Complete all required fields, then click “Submit Application.”
Step 2: Complete a Background Check
- For student safety, all volunteers must complete a background check.
- After your application is received, you will get an email with instructions to complete the online background check.
- Please complete this step promptly—you cannot volunteer until your background check is approved.
- Once both your application and background check are approved, you will be notified.
- After approval, you may log in to your Volunteer Portal to view and sign up for opportunities under the “Opportunities” tab.
Step 3: Review the Volunteer Handbook
- The handbook outlines expectations, guidelines, and confidentiality standards.
- After approval, you can access the handbook anytime in your Volunteer Portal under My Profile > Training.
