Special Events - National Donut Day
🍩 VOLUNTEERS NEEDED – NATIONAL DONUT DAY 🍩
Join The Salvation Army of Greater Birmingham as we celebrate National Donut Day by delivering donuts and encouragement throughout our community to veterans, first responders, and local government leaders!
📅 Friday, June 5th
📍 Meet at The Salvation Army of Greater Birmingham
⏰ 8:00 AM
Volunteers are needed to:
✅ Help deliver donuts to community locations across Birmingham
✅ Assist with setup and donut distribution at the Birmingham VA
✅ Share appreciation and encouragement with those who serve our community
🚗 Delivery routes will begin around 8:30 AM and continue until approximately 10:00 AM.
🇺🇸 Our final stop will be the Birmingham VA, where we will need approximately 3 additional volunteers to assist with setup and donut distribution from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM.
National Donut Day honors The Salvation Army “Donut Lassies” who served soldiers during World War I, and we are proud to continue that tradition of service and appreciation today.
