Angel Tree - Angel Tree Registration - Main Location - Birmingham
Christmas is just around the corner! We need volunteers to help register families who are applying for Christmas assistance through our Angel Tree Program.
The process itself is a face-to-face interview with the parent, and verifying the documentation provided by the parent. Once the documentation has been verified, the interviewer will collect the child's name, clothing sizes, and enter gift items from their "need" list and gift items from their "want" list into our computer system.
The registration is done on a laptop provided by The Salvation Army.
The whole process of registering can take 10-15 minutes per person, depending on the number of children in the family.
Volunteering for the Angel Tree Registration will require a brief computer training beforehand. Please arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled time to sign in and begin training.
This activity takes place at The Center of Hope, located at 2015 26th Ave. N. Birmingham, AL 35234.
All volunteers must be over the age of 19 and cannot be a recipient of any type of Angel Tree assistance through The Salvation Army.
