Teen Volunteers

Due to revised citywide programming plans and the need to ensure ongoing social distancing as a result of COVID-19, we do not have an upcoming in-person volunteer opportunities available. We will resume these opportunities when it is safe to do so. To offset this change, we developed virtual volunteer opportunities.

Virtual volunteer opportunities include:

  • Writing book reviews,
  • Creating family safety plans,
  • Making how-to videos,
  • Crafting for a cause or city project,
  • Graphic design,
  • Independent litter clean-up, and
  • The SERVE card that connects teens to a wide variety of civic engagement and self-development opportunities.

Opportunities are showcased below. Click on the title to read more. Even though they are not available at this time, in-person opportunities are still listed below. Teen volunteers interested in those opportunities will be notified once they are available again.
