Customer Service Volunteer – The Red Thread Gift Shop (M-F Daytime Opportunities Only)
The Red Thread Gift Shop requires energetic volunteers interested in providing compassionate customer service to patients, visitors and staff in a retail environment. Through the sales of a variety of merchandise from apparel and gifts to confectionary items and toys, the volunteer powered gift shop provides a significant annual donation to the hospital in support of patient care and comfort.
Role Requirements
- Experience interacting with the public
- Comfort with handling cash
- Able to be on your feet for 4 hours
- Enjoys being busy
- Able to attend a 4 hour weekly scheduled shift
Current Opportunities
- Casual self-scheduling volunteers for weekday daytime shifts (must self-schedule 3-4 shifts per month)
- Shift times are 8:45a-1:15p and 12:45-5p
