Piano Volunteer
Creating an inviting ambience in our central gathering area or inpatient units, this volunteer role involves sharing live acoustic music with patients, visitors, and staff.
Each week, musicians will perform a 60 minute set of appropriate background music from a playlist they choose themselves.
Preferred instruments:
- Piano
- Acoustic guitar
- Violin and other string instruments
- Accordion
- Other soft acoustic instruments as appropriate
Performers should be comfortable providing music in a range of moods and genres, such as classical, jazz, folk, pop, or film/television themes, whenever possible. You will be asked to audition for the volunteer coordinator prior to onboarding for the role.
