Arthur J.E. Child Comprehensive Cancer Centre

The Drumming Circle Volunteer Leader will lead weekly drumming sessions for patients, family and staff. Volunteer will help create an engaging environment for participants by setting up and managing equipment and instruments as needed for each session. 

*Weekday, daytime only. 

Responsibilities 

• Lead drumming sessions, encourage participation from patients, families, and staff
• Provide drums and other instruments or assist participants in using their own 
• Create a rhythmic and engaging atmosphere 
• Ensure the safety and comfort of all participants 

Skills required:

• Experience drumming 
• Previous experience leading a group in drumming (preferred) 
• Patience and enthusiasm for working with diverse groups
