Volunteers will help The Salvation Army provide well-balanced food to families seeking assistance from our food shelf. Assistance is needed in the Food Shelf M-W from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm and Thursday from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm. Volunteers will assist with putting away deliveries and donations, sorting food, stocking shelves, and making boxes of non-perishable food that will be given out through the food shelf program. 

Food Shelf Assistant Duties

• Stocking shelves in the food shelf and organizing the items by category.
• Ensuring shelves are neat and orderly and food is facing the front of shelves.
• Accepting deliveries and donations and recording all information on food logs.
• Sorting food deliveries and donations.
• Packing food boxes
