Audubon Climate Watch Surveys - Climate Watch Winter Surveys - MS
The winter Climate Watch pulse runs from January 15th to February 15th.
For a refresher, here is the link to the project that contains all the survey information: https://www.
audubon.org/features/esri-. Our target species remains the Brown-headed Nuthatch. Each survey area contains 12 locations for point counts. Each point count lasts for 5 minutes. All that is required is that you be able to identify this one bird, the Brown-headed Nuthatch. If you are able to ID more species, you can also submit a full eBird checklist. We are also looking for new areas to be surveyed in the lower six coastal counties. Please email: firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like to plan to survey a new area near your home or favorite birding spot. Stay tuned for more information! climate-watch
