Education and Outreach - MDMR's Celebrate the Gulf/ Arts in the Pass, Pass Christian
Celebrate the Gulf Marine Education Festival was first established in 1991 to teach residents and visitors about the importance of the Gulf of Mexico. The festival is held the first Saturday in April under the beautiful canopy of the live oak trees in Memorial Park in Pass Christian, Mississippi in conjunction with a sister festival, Art in the Pass. Join us and 35+ exhibitors to learn about everything from upland habitats and wildlife to the recreational and commercial services that the Gulf of Mexico provides!
Audubon Delta - Mississippi will host a table with a children's craft. We are looking for volunteers who like to talk to the public about Mississippi's birds and coastal wildlife, as well as help the little ones make their craft. We will also be focusing on volunteer recruitment for the summer.
