Erlanger Thrift Store & Donation Center - Dock Assistant
The position of Dock Assistant has been created to support the Donation Center in the acceptance of donations, thanking of donors, and pre-sorting of merchandise. All merchandise in the St. Vincent de Paul Northern Kentucky thrift stores are donated items from our Northern Kentucky community. Revenue from the sale of donated items benefits the programs and services we offer, assisting over 56,000 neighbors annually with basic emergency needs.
Qualifications Required
- Ability to bend, squat, and lift items to shoulder length Must be Yes
- Ability to lift 10 pounds Must be Yes
- Ability to lift up to 5 pounds Must be Yes
- Ability to stand and/or walk for 2 hours Must be Yes
- Completed New Volunteer Orientation Must be Yes
- Customer Service Experience Must be at least Intermediate
- Highest Level of Education Attained Must be at least Middle School
- Volunteer Agreement On File? Must be Yes
