Estevan - Estevan Regional Nursing Home - Recreation Volunteer
Volunteers encourage and assist residents’ participation in recreational programs and activities which could include: games (Bingo, cards, etc.) exercise and walking, singing, music, reading, visiting, storytelling, reminiscing, crafts, drawing, as well as with special events.
They may work one-on-one, in small or large groups.
Volunteers may assist with the setup and cleanup of various programs; as well as transferring residents to and from activities, indoors and outdoors.
