(SE9) Estevan, Carlyle, Stoughton and Carnduff

The Recreation Associate assists with various activities at the site. They encourage client's participation in activities. 

Recreation Associate are the extra pair of "helping hands" that add to the trained services of the Long-term care facility staff, working together to enhance the lives of residents

Activities include, but are not limited to:  

CC Recreation Associate –

Portering residents in wheelchairs, both inside and outside;

watching residents while staff member driving the Handivan;

Assist with crafts, games, puzzles, storytime, singing, etc.;

Assist with set-up for entertainment, special events, etc.;

Assist with distributing snacks and drinks;

one-on-one visiting, which could include, but not exclusive to:  reading to a resident or assisting them with electronic devices (making a phone call or video call)

Shifts available :  Monday - Sunday  mornings afternoons and evenings
