Early Childhood - Data Management and Analysis Assistant
PURPOSE: To assist the Coordinator, CCCP in the evaluation of mental health training and technical assistance services to staff members and families associated with child care, Head Start, and early education programs in Tennessee.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Assist in the design and implementation of consumer utilization
and satisfaction surveys for recipients of training workshop and
technical assistance services
* Assist in data management and data analysis activities for
consumer utilization and satisfaction surveys for recipients of
training workshop and technical assistance services
QUALIFICATIONS: Competent in use of MS Access, SQS or comparable data management programs and SAS, SigmaStat, or Systat statistical analysis programs. Also some training and/or experience in program evaluation design.
TRAINING REQUIREMENTS: Orientation with the Volunteer Coordinator (one hour). On the job training with program supervisors to include a review of completed training workshop curricula and materials and preparation in the use of data management and data analysis protocols. Estimated 6 hours required.
TIME AND PLACE: Variable schedule can be arranged during work hours and after hours if needed. Tennessee Voices for Children, 1315 8th Avenue South, Nashville, TN. Also, training sites across Tennessee as individual schedules permit
COMMITMENT: Minimum 2-4 hours per week for one semester.
SUPERVISION/EVALUATION: Mamie McKenzie, Coordinator, CCCP. Minimum 30 minutes per month formal supervision meeting with additional contact as needed. Performance evaluation measures as required by volunteer’s affiliate (e.g., university, community service organization) and/or individualized work plan developed by supervisors.
