Reading Hangout

Support children with reading to build their confidence, love of learning, and connection. Sessions are adapted to the student's level.  Work with a teacher and their classroom at the same time weekly. Volunteer requirements are for 1 hour.  To volunteer in this area, you must have a valid Vulnerable Sector Police Check, complete online Abuse Prevention Training, and a School Board Volunteer Application, all before volunteering in the schools. Schools and times will vary according to your availability.
