Volunteer Welcome Page

Welcome to the Mission Folk Music Festival Volunteer Application Page

It’s no secret that the Mission Folk Music Festival is bursting with pride over its volunteer community. Friendships and great music continue to bring together a community of volunteers dedicated to planning and producing a world-class event. Volunteering with the Mission Folk Music Festival is a rewarding experience and a great way to support the Festival!

The Mission Folk Music Festival is an inclusive, welcoming community that celebrates music, dance, stories and craft in ways that honour tradition and creativity. It is situated within the unceded traditional territory of the Kwantlen, Matsqui, and Leq’ a: mel First Nations, among the Stó: lō peoples.  Leq’ a: mel, meaning ‘the level place where people meet’, is the origin place of the Halq’ emeylem language. We express our gratitude and respect for the honour of living and working in this territory.
