Feeding Programs - Shelter Dinner Service
The Dinner with Love program provides individuals and/or groups with the opportunity to prepare and serve dinner to the clients of the Safety Net program at The Sylvia Fites Family Services Center. Currently, The Sylvia Fites Family Services Center serves 50-70 clients per day. (Volunteers can choose to purchase the food or prepare the food themselves - We strongly encourage that meals be prepared in a licensed kitchen)
Are you interested in PREPARING and SERVING a meal to those in need? If so, this is the perfect opportunity for you! Volunteers are needed to prepare a meal and serve a meal "cafeteria-style" to the clients of The Sylvia Fites Family Services Center, located at 414 NE Jefferson Street in downtown Peoria.
