Group Projects - Nursing Student Volunteers

The Salvation Army partners with local college nursing programs to provide a volunteer activity for nursing students to complete their Community Health Clinicals. The Salvation Army currently partners with Bradley University and Illinois Wesleyan University. Nursing students provide volunteer support for residents in The Salvation Army shelters. 

All nursing students volunteering must complete an online application, including acknowledging and agreeing to The Salvation Army volunteer guidelines and policies, complete a background check and Safe from Harm Training.

  • Are you a Nursing Student completing a class with us? Must be Yes
  • Training: Safe From Harm Completed Must be at least Basic
  • What age category do you belong? Must be at least 18 or older
