Christmas Activities and Events - 01. Loading and Unloading Santa's Sleigh
Volunteers are needed to assist with Loading and Unloading Toys!
The Salvation Army supplies HUNDREDS of families in need with Christmas assistance including toys for children on Christmas morning. In order to prepare for our Annual Toy Shop, we are looking for volunteers to help "load and unload Santa's sleigh".
Volunteers are needed to help with loading toys on to a truck/trailer from our storage location to move and unload off the truck/trailer at our warehouse location. (Some volunteers will be assigned to the storage location for loading and some will be assigned to the warehouse location for unloading).
Toys are scheduled to be moved on Monday, October 9th and Tuesday, October 10th.
(This schedule may vary depending on progress made, but any changes made to the planned schedule will be communicated to volunteers ASAP).
This volunteer activity involves lifting of heavy boxes, reaching, bending, etc.
The Volunteer Coordinator will reach out to you to share additional information once you have signed up and will confirm your assignment for this volunteer activity.

- How much can you lift comfortably? Must be at least 20 lbs
