Neighbourhood/Pod Program Volunteers
Neighbourhood and Pod Program volunteers are conduits for communication in their immediate neighbourhoods, relating to preparation, response, and recovery. They work together with other Neighbourhood/Pod volunteers to oversee the maintenance of neighbourhood contact information, coordinate delivery of approved messages to neighbourhoods impacted by an incident, receive information from residents at the time of an incident and relay it to the Emergency Management Lead or local Emergency Operations Center.
