Shipley Art Gallery - Creative facilitator - Drawn Together
This role is suitable for those who are age 18+
Drawn Together is an event at the Shipley Art Gallery. This event is all about coming together to draw and be creative, in fun and surprising ways! People of all ages are invited to drop into the gallery to get creative with artist educators. They can ty different artist-led activities at their own pace, trying different art materials and techniques.
We are seeking 6 volunteers to support the event.
Tasks:
Welcoming visitors and signposting to activities.
Helping set up materials and put away at the end.
Interacting with people of all ages and engaging them in the activities.
Supporting the artists with facilitating.
You don't need to be 'good at drawing'!
Skills:
You don't need to be 'good at drawing'!
You need to be friendly, welcoming, confident interacting with people, able to use initiative.
Good to know:
Step free access.
Unknown number of attendees, could be busy at times.
Accessible loos.
Sensory space for breaks.
