Great North Museum: Hancock - Great North Museum: Hancock Half Term Support
This role is for those age 16+
Join us at the Great North Museum: Hancock this February half term to assist with our family fun activities. Families will join us at the museum to do a number of engaging activities including colouring in and a trail. Volunteers main duties will be to assist with these activities where there is need, preparing materials and making sure tables are well stocked, helping to explain the trail to families and supporting staff at busier times.
Briefing for volunteers will be at 10 each day, volunteers to arrive at the Main entrance and report to the reception desk. The activity itself runs from 10am - 3pm.
No skills are required, just happy to help families in a creative and enthusiastic.
The building can be busy in half term with the space being quite noisy but break spaces can be provided if needed
Qualifications Required
- Read Volunteer policy and volunteer agreement Must be yes
- General induction Must be attended
