This role is suitable for those aged 16+
Tasks:
Providing a warm welcome to visitors of all ages, abilities and background.
Greeting Wellbeing Workshop attendees at Reception and taking them to the gallery space.
Helping visitors with directions and timings of activities
Helping to keep the gallery and learning room spaces and resources clean and tidy.
Preparing resources for craft activities
Supporting learning team with delivery of family crafts in the learning room, including setting up and tidying away.
Skills:
Enjoy working with and talking with people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds
Interest in engaging visitors with art, history, wellbeing activities and keen to discover more - (training will be provided). Enjoy taking part in art and craft activities and helping others to participate.
Good to know:
Role may involve guiding visitors up and down stairs or directing to lifts.
Spaces could potentially become noisy, busy during popular activities
Level of English Required:
Understand times and dates
Follow simple instructions
Give one or two word answers
Have short simple conversations
Understand detailed instructions with 2 or 3 parts
Read signs and single words
Read short sentences and simple instructions
