As part of our Language Treasures event at the Great North Museum: Hancock, share your enthusiasm for languages.
You will share your experience of either:
Being bilingual or multilingual
Learning language(s)
Studying language(s) at university or completing study abroad (this includes current students and alumni)
Using language(s) in your job or career
Skills Required:
Language skills - in English and at least one other language.
Able and willing to interact with school children and teachers (ages 7-14 approx.)
Clear, engaging communicator and able to adapt to different audiences
A story to share about the value of learning languages
Good to know
Could be noisy in the galleries.

English Language Level Required
To do this role you should have a good level of spoken English, able to talk to others and have conversations about your experience
