Great North Museum: Hancock - Igloo Building Challenge
This role is suitable for those age 16+
As part of our preparations for our popular Toddler Takeover event we need to construct an igloo the day before this event is due to take place. The igloo is made up of plastic poles and connectors joined together in a specific order to form a large igloo shape. A clear plastic covering is then placed over the igloo structure to complete the event space. We would like to challenge a small group of volunteers (2-3 people) to construct the igloo within a 2 hour time slot. Just for fun we will time how quickly the team takes to complete the task and enter the team onto a leader board for fastest to complete. This will be the first time we have set the challenge, so this first team of volunteers will be setting the bar for future teams to beat! We will plan to set this challenge at least twice a year moving forward.
