This role is suitable for those age 18+ 

South Shields Museum & Art Gallery is looking for a friendly and approachable volunteer to help gather valuable feedback from visitors after they have visited our new exhibition Monet: In the Presence of Nature. In this role, you will invite visitors to take part in a post-visit survey using a tablet and offer assistance if needed. 

Skills needed: 

We are looking for Volunteers who are confident, friendly and approachable 

Good to know: 

Volunteers will be based in the stairwell of museum, capturing feedback from visitors after they have visited the exhibition. 

As it is the school holidays, the museum may be busy and noisy.  

Level of English Language required: 

For this role we are looking for a volunteer with  good level of English language, who is confident in reading the survey and communicating with the visitors, and writing down their responses.  

Dates and times: 

Dates with in the period of 17th February – 14th March.  

These include: Tuesdays during February school holidays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays. Flexible shifts, either morning, afternoon or full days.
