📌 EOIs are reviewed as they are received. You will be contacted to confirm if you have a place or are on the Backup List.
👥 On the Day
• Meet at the Reef Fleet Terminal for check-in
• Short, friendly briefing before departure
• Travel together on the reef vessel
• Ongoing support from AKKF staff throughout the day
🧩 What We Will Do
• Snorkelling and reef exploration
• Optional introductory scuba diving
• Relaxation and connection time onboard
• Group reflection and wellbeing conversations
With over five hours at the reef, activities may vary depending on conditions and group needs.
This helps young people build confidence, resilience, teamwork, and connection through shared adventure.
🤝 Your Role
• Welcome and support young people
• Help them feel safe, included, and comfortable
• Encourage safe participation in water activities (no pressure)
• Support transitions between boat activities and water sessions
• Assist with meals, hydration, and wellbeing check-ins
• Facilitate connection and group discussions
• Support young people who may feel nervous in new environments
• Always supervise with another adult
🛡️ Safety
• Your WWCC must be valid and verified
• All onboarding must be complete before attending
You may notice:
• Boat travel and open water environments
• Active water-based activities
• Young people with varying confidence levels
Basic swimming ability is recommended.
All water activities are supervised by trained marine crew and dive professionals.
AKKF provides:
• Supportive staff at all times
• First Aid-trained team members
• Two-adult supervision
• Pre-event volunteer briefing
• Qualified marine and dive professionals

Food will be provided onboard (please let us know any dietary needs)
