Complete the Confirmation Form within 7 days
✅ Your place is confirmed once the form is submitted
⚠️ If the form isn’t returned, your spot may be offered to another volunteer
🔒 Spots are limited and will close when full
📌 EOIs are reviewed as they are received. You will be contacted to confirm if you have a place or are on the Backup List.
👥 On the Day
• Short, friendly briefing before young people arrive
• Meet the team and go through the plan together
• Group movement throughout the park
• Ongoing support from AKKF staff throughout the day
🧩 What We Will Do
• Enjoy rollercoasters and theme park rides
• Experience classic carnival rides and attractions
• Participate in games and group challenges
• Explore the park and surrounding areas
• Wellbeing and reflection activities
This helps young people build confidence, social connection, and positive shared experiences.
🤝 Your Role
• Welcome and support young people
• Help them feel safe, included, and comfortable
• Encourage participation (no pressure)
• Support transitions and movement around the park
• Assist with meals, breaks, and check-ins
• Facilitate Chat Groups and connection activities
• Help create a safe, fun, and inclusive environment
• Always supervise with another adult
🛡️ Safety
• Your WWCC must be valid and verified
• All onboarding must be complete before attending
You may notice:
• Crowds, queues, and loud ride areas
• Outdoor walking and sun exposure
• Moving ride platforms and stairs
• Young people with varying confidence levels
AKKF provides:
• Supportive staff at all times
• First Aid-trained team members
• Two-adult supervision
• Pre-event volunteer briefing
🔒 Full program details are shared with confirmed volunteers only in line with safeguarding practices.
