📌 EOIs are reviewed as they are received. You will be contacted to confirm if you have a place or are on the Backup List.
👥 On the Day
• Short, friendly briefing before young people arrive
• Meet the team and go through the plan together
• Ongoing support from AKKF staff throughout the day
• Structured schedule including activities, breaks, and lunch
🧩 What We Will Do
• High ropes courses
• Climbing walls and vertical challenges
• Controlled freefall jump (2.5m – 7.5m)
• Team games and group challenges
• Wellbeing and reflection conversations
Activities may vary depending on weather and group needs.
This helps young people build confidence, resilience, teamwork, and positive connection.
🤝 Your Role
• Welcome and support young people
• Help them feel safe, included, and comfortable
• Encourage participation and celebrate effort and bravery
• Support transitions between activity stations
• Assist with breaks and meals
• Facilitate connection and small group conversations
• Participate in activities where appropriate
• Always supervise with another adult
🛡️ Safety
• Your WWCC must be valid and verified
• All onboarding must be complete before attending
You may notice:
• Active outdoor environments
• Heights-based activities and harness equipment
• Physical movement and time on your feet
• Young people needing encouragement or reassurance
All activities are delivered and supervised by trained venue instructors.
AKKF provides:
• Supportive staff at all times
• First Aid-trained team members
• Two-adult supervision
• Pre-event volunteer briefing
• Qualified activity instructors at the venue
